Book Tokens
Rossett is participating in the Times 'Books For Schools' and the Nestle 'Box Tops for Books' schemes. We have some great books from the last batch of tokens collected, which have just been put on display and we would like to continue to add to our stock of fiction through these tokens. The 'Books for Schools' tokens appear in the Times and Sunday Times, and the 'Box Tops for Books' are on all Nestle breakfast cereal boxes. Collection boxes are on the desk in the Resource Centre. Your help in collecting would be much appreciated.

Exam Results
We are absolutely delighted with the results this year. It was a major challenge for us to improve on last year but with an amazing 94% 5+ A*-C and 63% with English & Maths we have the best results ever in the history of Rossett School. With a huge number of students gaining the highest grades they are in a very strong position to carry on to the next stage of their education which, in most cases, will be here at Rossett.
We were especially pleased with our Year 9 and Year 10 students who, within our new curriculum, have taken up to two GCSE option subjects. With over 70% of Year 9 and over 80% of Year 10 achieving higher grades they have really excelled.
I want to congratulate all students on their achievements. These impressive results have been made possible through tremendous hard work from students, outstanding teaching from staff and incredible support from parents.
We all have much to celebrate.
