School mealsSchool Catering Service

School catering is provided by an in-house business unit which is managed by the Governing Body. There is excellent liaison between the school and the catering service. Our menus are tailored to the tastes of the students.

Healthy Eating is championed with all DFES guidelines met or exceeded. Prices are set at or below North Yorkshire guidelines. All students have a catering account with the school Finance Office. Money is paid into this account via machines around the school or, preferably, by cheque to the Finance Office.

FingerprintThe account is accessed at point-of-sale by a thumbprint recognition system. No cash changes hands at point-of-sale. A number of vending machines are available for use by the students. These only sell products within DFES guidelines.
