ePortal
ePortal is a powerful web-based interface that allows all teacher (and soon to be parents) access to relevant data from a central source, through secure, password-protected entry.
Teachers can reach accurate facts about students immediately, managers can access relevant figures for statutory reports, learners can track their own performance and parents can check their children's progress.
It is also used to enter information directly into the database, making it a powerful tool for data management. Registration, behaviour events, changes to the timetable and a host of other information can be logged through a PC, laptop or PDA, updating the database immediately and ensuring all information is current.
The web-based format makes it possible to have access from any Internet point so our teachers can carry out administration duties from home if they wish. Password-protection means that the system can identify users and restrict access to authorised areas. Parents will therefore soon be able to monitor their children's progress, attendance or timekeeping, from work or home, knowing that all personal information is safe from unauthorised viewing.
Facility ePortal is the simple way to manage a variety of administration including lesson by lesson roll call, recording behaviour, monitoring progress, keeping track of resources, performing school self review or preparing termly or annual reports.
